Proud Moments

For all who donated to the bogus hate and fear issues the Republican Leadership of Florida sent out three times a day, I am sure you are experiencing a "moment of pride" when you see that a minimum of $7,000,000.00 of your hard earned money was spent on such necessities as "back waxes" and "resort vacations" for those "party elite" given American Express Cards.
While they made sure the governmental parasites lacked nothing, you suffered the most devastating unemployment and hardest financial times anyone alive today has ever experienced.
To all my Republican friends and relatives, you are good people who have legitimate concerns and undisputed love for our nation.  I stand with you!
What your party has done is criminal.  They stole the money you donated to make the world a better place for us all and threw it away living a lifestyle of greed and avarice.
Why has this issue not hammered the Democrat Party of Florida?  It did, back when one of my opponents was the chair of the party.  Democrats statewide are still staggering because of it.
What do we do?
We WAKE UP.
We fire every politician that sells their vote to whatever lobbyist who comes along.  Take the prostitution out of politics.  We elect STATESMEN only.
So, how do you tell the difference?
Look at how much money they raised.  If it is a million dollars or more and the contributions are all in $500.00 increments from people in the same profession, you've got yourself a first class "hooker".
If a Candidate comes to your town and sits in your coffee shops and public meeting places and listens to you and then asks you to help with a $25.00 contribution, you may have a statesman in front of you.
Listen carefully, and you decide if you want to invest in statesmanship over political prostitution.
In the end, you get what you vote for.
You are the employer and the candidates have all applied for the job.
Choose wisely!

  1. Mr. Hatch as you know I am in fact a Republican. While there are issues upon which we disagree I am a big fan of your campaign and of you as a Florida statesman. A large part of the representative form of government is a reliance upon the honor and sincerity of the folks we elect to carry out duties. Having met you numerous times over coffee and observed your involvement and dedication to listening to your constituents but integrity in holding fast to your core values I could easily support you over the rest of the field. Party affiliation has its place but the political arena is not a spectator sport where we blindly follow one team just because we wear their colors. In sports that's fine and part of the fun but in real life we have to know that sometimes the best person for the job does not have the same letter after their name on their voter's reg card as we might have. Keep listening to the people of Florida and keep listening to your conscience. As Rudyard Kipling said in his poem "If", "If all men count with you, but none too much..."

  2. Thanks for your insightful comment, Ron. I am, first and foremost, an American patriot. I do not allow anyone to tell me how to vote on any issue.
Both major parties have mis-managed their public trust. For Republicans, it was Jim Greer. For Democrats, it was Scott Maddox.
These people do not respect the political process and live to serve only themselves.
Thanks for your continued support. Best wishes.
